Residing in picturesque rural Stillwater, NJ, D. D’Anne is a singer, songwriter who is inspired by nature and the simple country life. 

She performs widely in the area at various venues from coffeehouses to festivals. Her most recent release, Old Mine Road,  all originals and self produced was recorded at Mixolydian Studios with world class supporting musicians, It was released in September 2023 to rave reviews. Her first release April Snow of all original music was produced by Tim Carbone of Railroad Earth. All releases highlight her ability to shift genres and maintain her unique style. Red Dress, is an EP that highlights her holiday writing. Country Christmas was written to sound like a classic traditional yet is completely new and inspired by her farm. Red Dress, the title song is a haunting simile and has moments that are autobiographical. 

Deb is a former music and language arts teacher/school media specialist, and grows and works with medicinal herbs.  She facilitates a long running songwriting workshop whose participants have all become prolific songwriters.
